Alfred L. Odom is currently a practicing attorney in the NYC Metropolitan area and a Minister at his local church in Queens, NY. According to Mr. Odom, the concept of Take Time With Your Mind was born out of a passion and belief that we should always present the best of ourselves and have an appreciation for one another as we navigate this journey called life. He believes that there is a richness and gift that lies within each of us. Cultivating the mind is a key to unleashing this gift. The logo of the clock pictured on the front cover of his first book "Take Time With Your Mind" is his own creation and symbolic of the processes our mind should undergo daily.

Over the last three decades Mr. Odom has worked as a trial attorney, served in ministry, and taught at several schools. He is also a lover of music and a musician. He has been playing the alto saxophone for the past forty years. He is a graduate of Bernard Baruch College (B.B.A.) and from St. John’s University School of Law (J.D.). Mr. Odom's daily mantra is “be determined to nurture and protect your mind every minute.”
