My last name is pronounced "BOUY'no" or "BOY'no" but definitely not "BUDGE'no" I have a BA degree in Psychology from Eastern Baptist College and a MDiv in Pastoral Ministry from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I was in the pastoral ministry for forty-seven years and have pastored churches in Rhode Island, New York, and California. Sue and I have been happily married for almost fifty-four years. We have three grown children and six grandchildren. We lived on the east coast for most of our lives but Sue and I moved to California in 2008 to live near our daughter and granddaughter. I've often told these stories of the many unique, often humorous ways the Lord has displayed His abundant mercy, love, and grace in our lives through the people who've come into our lives and the situations we've encountered that have guided us, instructed us, stopped us, or corrected us in order to remain in the will of God. Throughout my life, people have belling me that I should write the things down. Well, I finally have and, hopefully they'll provide you some encouragement and, perhaps even a smile. It will make yo laugh and it will make you think.
