Allen Manning grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, watching action movies and Saturday morning cartoons, playing video games, and pretending to be a professional wrestler in the yard with his brothers and friends. He became a fan of fiction books while he was young, reading science fiction and fantasy adventure stories. After his twin brother, Brian Manning, started writing short stories and a first full-length novel, he joined in to help create the John Stone action thriller series. Together, they write fast-paced thrilling stories, filled with snappy dialogue and action movie inspired sequences. He lives in Las Vegas with his fiance, their daughter, a dog, and a cat.
