Alyssa Lee is a Hawaiʻi-based author, professional photographer, and life coach whose work celebrates the beauty and spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.

Her books include Maui Memories (2024), Kīlauea Volcano: Imagery of Her Power & Beauty (2026), and Episode 36: My Life-Changing Week on the Volcano (2026), a memoir about an unexpected week at Kīlauea that profoundly changed the direction of her life.

With a background in technology and leadership, Alyssa spent 15 years in the tech industry, including at Amazon, Google, and Dell, before building a career in photography, writing, and coaching.

Today, she combines photography and storytelling to share Hawaiʻi through her unique perspective, from the shores of Maui to the spectacular eruptions of Kīlauea. At the heart of Alyssa’s work is a love of storytelling—whether through a photograph, a book, or the experiences she shares with others. Her work invites people to see Hawaiʻi not simply as a destination, but as a place filled with beauty, resilience, wonder, and stories worth preserving.
