Dear Reader, Can you imagine how times have changed? I'm a young woman who was born in 1990 on the cusp of the millenium bug panic, and even I can see how things have changed. Back when I graduated high school we had phones to call and text too much. There were ceiling to floor phone bills and the internet made the AOL loading screeches from the pits of hell. At the time, my mother and I were writing The Quirni series together. We would spend hours talking about what we wanted to happen while I played video games, wrote fiction and poetry, and enjoyed the creature comforts of home. I encouraged her to pen the continuation of her original Matilda story which she wrote well before I was born. She actually wrote that about the age where I started heavily editing the Quirni series myself and adding things to it making it mine. I was going through community college and then University of Michigan - Flint for an English major at the time, and boy was that fun. In fact, it was so much fun it inspired me to make a blog, and then Lisa and I made a blog together just for Quirni. I suppose that's why I wanted to talk to you instead of list neutral facts from third person. Well, welcome to the whirlwind.
