With 30 years in the corporate world, delivering keynotes and presenting training, Andrea found herself with a plan to end her life. Despite medications from the GP along with a range of therapies, her low mood became worse, not better. In hindsight what she now realises is that the perimenopause symptoms were being masked by a highly stressful period in her life, and as that rollercoaster of emotions continued, she found herself once more peering into the abyss. Now combining her experience of Crucial Conversations in the corporate world, with her qualification as a Suicide Intervention Tutor, accredited Menopause Wellness Practitioner and Coach, and her own lived experience of finding herself in her GP's blind spot, she is on a mission to raise more awareness and make sure men and managers are better informed about this life transition. Andrea believes that really useful conversations can change and save lives, as well as marriages, careers and reputations. Now that she is finally In Her Right Mind, she is helping women navigate their way through this challenging time - healthily and well - and equipping those around her to support, signpost and advocate if needed.
