Angel is a romance-novelist-in-training and poet, and co-author of The Book of Night: Poems of the Macabre. Growing up in a small southern town, she found adventures through reading and began studying creative writing at an early age. Her grandfather's love of bedtime stories involving the tales of Edgar Allan Poe and poems by Robert Service led to her fascination with macabre poetry. A desire to experience adventures outside the pages of books was an eventual stepping stone to a career of teaching abroad, and she is a self-described professional vagabond. She currently lives in the Middle East, where she is working on a second draft of her first novel.
