The Rev. Dr. Angela Gorrell is assistant professor of practical theology at Baylor University’s Truett Theological Seminary and the author of The Gravity of Joy: A Story of Being Lost and Found (forthcoming March 2021) and always on: practicing faith in a new media landscape (May 2019). She was an associate research scholar at the Yale Center for Faith & Culture at Yale University from March 2016 through June 2019. Angela has a Ph.D. in practical theology and is an ordained minister in the Mennonite Church USA. She teaches courses about and researches joy, meaning-making, education and formation, new media, and theology and culture. She is especially passionate about creating space for people to ask and answer the most important questions in their lives.
