Annabel Harper MA is an Executive Leadership Coach and Facilitator and has a long-held interest in the culture and dynamics of the Middle East. She has worked in the region for more than 10 years and studied for her MA in Middle Eastern Studies at King's College, London in 2017. Her research focused on the impact of the UAE Government's initiatives for women and leadership. Since then, Annabel has continued to explore this fascinating topic and her book expands on her previous research and looks at the wider region, the implications for women's leadership development in the current environment and the growing opportunities that are emerging. In her first career as a journalist, Annabel witnessed some of the challenges that aspiring women leaders faced. Her international coaching experience and her work with global and multi-cultural organisations gives her a unique insight to the challenges that still exist for some women. She is determined that the coming decade of the 21st century will see a transformation in the role of women at senior levels globally, not just in the Middle East.
