Dr. Dranitsaris is a highly sought-after Behavioral Change Expert, Executive and Leadership Coach and Consultant. She has over 40 years’ experience working with the senior ranks of leaders from entrepreneurial start-ups to international organizations. She is one of North America’s top experts in the application of psychological type in clinical practice and in organizations and the author of more than 75 books on personality type for use with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. In the 1980s, following the completion of her Ph.D. in Therapeutic Counselling, Dr. Dranitsaris pursued a 6-year Diploma Program from the Centre or Training in Psychotherapy where she studied the works of Karl Jung and other early psychoanalytic theorists. Her passion for Jung's Psychological Type Theory led to becoming a Certified Practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and using it in her psychotherapy and coaching practices. Dr. Dranitsaris takes a developmental approach to helping people achieve their potential that draws from a number of schools of theory and practical disciplines, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Self-Psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Neuropsychology. Because of her experience with alternative approaches to mental health, including mindfulness, astrology, karma patterns and meditation, she is able to approach each individual from a holistic, psycho-educational therapeutic approach that includes looking at how thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours are influenced by childhood conditioning and brain-organization; finding patterns of behaviour that limit development, providing tools for developing greater insight and awareness, and for changing to new life-enhancing behaviours. Anne's work has been greatly influenced by her partner and daughter, Heather Dranitsaris-Hilliard whom she gave up for adoption at birth and met when she was 27. As they began to forge their relationships, they both recognized how much they had in common despite their separation. They both had a desire to help people achieve their potential and were doing it in separate careers. Their business collaboration was born following their reunion starting with their first consulting business, Sage Developmental Resources. It was later renamed Caliber Leadership Systems following a hiatus in their partnership during which time Anne opened the Centre for Mindful Therapies, to pursue her interest in applying mindfulness to the therapeutic process she used with her clients. Anne's article in "O" Oprah Magazine triggered the development of the Striving Styles Personality System® (SSPS®) – a neuropsychological approach to discovering and developing your full potential. This proprietary psychometric assessment and system are for understanding how the brain develops and how the self-protective system of the brain can get in the way of developing our Authentic Self. Anne and Heather co-authored the popular book based on the Striving Styles "WHO ARE YOU MEANT TO BE? – A groundbreaking, step-by-step approach to identifying and achieving your true potential." To support their work with leaders in organizations, Anne and Heather authored “SO YOU THINK YOU CAN LEAD: A Guide to Developing Leadership Authority and Potential.” This book is the basis for the leadership development programs they offer online and one's they customize for their clients. In 2020, following significant delving into the power of archetypes in human consciousness and the archetypes of survival, Anne wrote “POWER PAST THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME: A Brain-Building Framework for Changing Painful, Self-Limiting Beliefs & Habits of Mind. Anne and Heather also created an online program, POWER PAST THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME PROGRAM, an 8-week online program to understand and work through self-defeating behaviors and habits of mind for those who want to delve further into how to free themselves from the grip of Imposter Syndrome. Anne lives with her husband Blake and their dog Pixie, on one of Ontario’s many spectacular lakes just northeast of Toronto.
