Anne Kuo, better known as Lady Human, is a backyard chicken-keeper, avid gardener, urban homesteader, crafter and proponent of living sustainably. She has dived deep into the world of backyard chicken-keeping since getting her first four hens to help her after a serious extended illness, and continues to educate herself and others about keeping chickens, organic gardening, and urban homesteading. She is the main voice behind the popular Instagram account @RealHensOfOC and Real Hens of Orange County blog. Her chickens hack the account sometimes and contribute in their own colorful ways. She and her husband, better known as Guy Human, live in Orange County, California.
