Anne Laughlin is the author of six novels - Sometimes Quickly, Veritas, Runaway, The Acquittal, A Date to Die, and Money Creek. Her books have won four Goldie Awards for lesbian fiction and she's been short-listed three times for a Lammy Award. She was mentioned as a notable crime writer in Minotaur's crime fiction blog. Anne was selected as a Lambda Literary Foundation Emerging Writers Fellow in 2008 and 2014. She has been accepted into writing residencies at Ragdale and Vermont Studio Center. Anne lives in Chicago where she works as a real estate broker. During her career showing property, she's been bitten twice by dogs and once had a gun drawn on her. She's still trying to figure out how to work that into a story.
