Armin Wertz (1945-), worked for more than 30 years as foreign correspondent for various magazines and newspapers such as Der Spiegel, Die Zeit, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Tempo (Jakarta), mare, Lettre International, Tages-Anzeiger (Zurich) and others. He did also reporting for Germany's ARD radio and wrote the scripts for three TV documentaries. During the eighties he covered Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, followed by a five-year stint in Jerusalem as Israel correspondent, and since 1998 he is based in Jakarta reporting about Southeast Asia. Four of his books were published as printed editions, five more are published as Kindle ebooks.
