Barbara is a wife, mother, and grandmother who resides on the West Coast of Florida with her husband Dave. She has written books for children and adults, as well as numerous devotionals, and her personal memoir, Arise My Daughter - A Journey from Darkness to Light. Barbara is also a 5-time contributing author for Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Wives, Find Your Inner Strength, Think Possible, and Believe in Miracles. She enjoys leading a variety of women's groups through her church. Her most recent book, Weight A Minute: God Cares About Your Body, Soul & Spirit was released in November 2019.
