Beverly Harris is a children's author, playwright, and founder of BYC Books, where she creates stories that celebrate family, imagination, kindness, courage, faith, and belonging.
Her books are often inspired by the moments, relationships, and traditions that shape childhood and family life—from welcoming a new grandbaby and learning to navigate change to practicing gratitude and experiencing a little Christmas magic.
Beverly's growing collection includes picture books, early-learning resources, journals, faith-centered stories, and children's theatre. Her Christmas picture book, A Gingerbread Christmas Wish, has also made the journey from page to stage as a family-friendly Christmas play created with schools, churches, children's theatre programs, and community theatres in mind.
Through BYC Books, Beverly hopes to create stories that children enjoy today, families share together, and readers remember long after the last page is turned.
