Bill Carr is the founder and chairman of York Solutions, a premier technology consulting firm located in Chicago and the Twin Cities. He is a Vietnam veteran and serial entrepreneur who started York in 1989 to provide exceptional talent to top companies. Since then, he has worked to infuse the company with a corporate culture built on three rules, as summed up by his daughter when she was only seven years old: (1) Come in with a good attitude, (2) put in a good day’s work, and (3) play nicely with others. Bill is a 1975 alumnus of Southern Illinois University, where he did his post-graduate work in chemistry. He and his wife, Breeda, live in Naples, Florida. Together, they have a beautiful, blended family of seven children as well as eight and counting grandchildren.
