Bill Hurst legally migrated from metropolitan Detroit to The Villages, Florida in 2015. Prior to moving to The Villages he owned a suburban insurance agency. It was during these years that he regularly told strangers that he was a bank robber in an attempt to avoid unwanted insurance questions. Bill's first published work was a 1978 article published in the Hazel Park Chronicle promoting an upcoming Junior Chamber of Commerce picnic. It wasn't until he moved to The Villages that he produced his first book length manuscript, "Marooned in 1799." Currently he is working on the sequel, "The Return to 1799." Watch for the publication of two other works in the next year. "The Deadly Scam" is a tale of love, violence, and revenge and "Lost and Found" is the story of how fate can change the course of lives.
