Bob Hurling is a consumer psychologist, researcher, and speaker with over 35 years’ experience turning behaviour into insight, and occasionally turning meetings into something useful. He has published over 40 academic papers and is the author of five books spanning insight, psychology, and lived experience, including Playful Rebellion on corporate life, Dark Thoughts on the nature of mind, Festive Families on shared happiness, Boys on Bicycles on friendship and mishap, and Crap Consumer Insight: and how to avoid it, a practical look at how research goes wrong and how to avoid it. Bob lives in Bedford, still cycles, if a little more carefully, and has come to think that getting somewhere is rarely the point. It is usually the ride, the company, and what you notice along the way that matter more.
