Brad Gooch is a poet, novelist, and biographer, whose most recent book is "Radiant: The Life and Line of Keith Haring." He is the author of twelve previous works, including: the memoir "Smash Cut;" "Rumi's Secret;" the acclaimed biography of Frank O'Hara, "City Poet"; and "Flannery: A Life of Flannery O'Connor," which was a finalist for a National Book Critics Circle Award in Biography, a New York Times Notable Book of the Year, and New York Times best seller. The recipient of National Endowment for the Humanities and Guggenheim fellowships, he lives in New York City.
