Brennan W. Breed is Assistant Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. His research focuses on the question, "What have biblical texts done throughout history?" Brennan's first book, Nomadic Text, is now available from Indiana University Press. He has also written a series of essays on reception history to be included in Carol A. Newsom's Daniel: A Commentary for Westminster John Knox's Old Testament Library series. Brennan lives in Decatur, Georgia, with his wife, Catherine, and their two children.
