Bridget Budd is a trauma-informed, board-certified health coach and former corporate executive turned novelist. After more than twenty-five years climbing the ladder and mastering the art of holding it all together, she traded perfectionism for presence—and found her true work in story.

Her debut novel, Behind the Mirror, blends emotional depth with raw honesty, inviting readers to look beneath the surface at the patterns that quietly shape their lives. Drawing from her background in psychology, somatics, and integrative health, Bridget writes fiction with a therapeutic edge—stories that hold up a mirror to the ways we chase love, worth, and belonging until we finally see the lens that’s been running the show.

She divides her time between Marco Island, Florida, and Marvin, North Carolina, where she lives with her husband and two beloved dogs, including Pablo, a certified therapy dog she volunteers with in schools, medical facilities, and community programs. When she’s not writing, she’s reflecting on the messy beauty of being human—or reminding others that awareness itself can be healing.
