Crowder, an author, business consultant, CEO, philanthropist and a visionary in the field of cannabis and the health benefits it can bring. Crowder is an author and 10-year State of Illinois EMT-Paramedic with a strong base of public sector leadership experience. He founded The D.O.P.E (Delivering Opportunities For People Everywhere) House Inc. in 2015, an Illinois nonprofit organization whose mission was to provide equal medical marijuana access, resources, education, and employment primarily in low-income/minority communities. Mr. Crowder is a cannabis economics subject matter expert as demonstrated in his book Budding Jim Crow: A New Strain of Prejudice, that serves as not only a light to the lack of minority involvement in the legal cannabis industry, but also a road map with guidance, instruction, and direction for minorities to gain access. Mr. Crowder is also the owner of DLC Training LLC., which is one of 26 companies awarded an Illinois Responsible Vendor approval by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to instruct a Cannabis Dispensary Agent Course.
