C J Knapp spent her early years in foster homes and a Catholic Orphanage in New Haven. The return to mother and a new stepfather found her living in a New Haven city project, where she became comfortable with people from diverse backgrounds. She brings these insights and sensitivities into her stories. Her bold approach to life led her to search for meaning and she became a sought after speaker on the nature of reality.
