I was raised as a "good Lutheran boy." I even preached my first message from a Lutheran pulpit at the age of 17. It finally dawned on my one day, a few years later, that instead of just following Luther's teachings I needed more: I needed to follow Christ Himself. So at the age of 20, one night during my senior year of college, I repented of my sins and gave my heart and my life to Jesus Christ. I remember the first morning after I made that commitment in prayer. I was walking to class and suddenly it seemed my entire world was alive in new ways! The Father Himself seemed to be shouting His love to me in all of His creation. His Word became alive in me, too. I voraciously devoured the Gospel of John and soon after, the entire Bible. He has blessed me time and time again as I have followed Him, journeying into both the world of itinerant ministry and media. My vision in equipping evangelism is to inspire passionate discipleship, and also help people of all backgrounds hear the voice of God more clearly and help equip people to share their faith in Jesus Christ. My vision in media includes being a producer of some great documentary films. I even attended U.S.C. Film School for a summer in Los Angeles, California. I love to study history, and I love to bring history to life for people. I love relating stories of common believers of all times who had extraordinary faith and did great things for God. In personality I could be described as an "outgoing introvert." That means I love to network and meet new people, but I also love to be alone and recharge in prayer with God. If you are ever wanting to "test" me, just shout out, "BRAVEHEART" or "DO SHAKESPEARE!" I might just do a loud Scottish accent with the famous Braveheart Freedom speech, or even Shakespeare in a broken English accent. In case you are wondering, my favorite Bible verse is John 10:10. I just love that verse.
