With a dynamic career that includes writing, television production, and media law, Cat Buchanan is a multidimensional professional. Cat started her career as in-house lawyer for Granada Television after graduating from Sarah Lawrence College, Pepperdine University School of Law, and London School of Economics and Political Science. Later, she segued to the independent sector and produced critically acclaimed rock ‘n’ roll documentaries. Cat has always loved telling stories, and her first memoir, Girl in Flight, was influenced by her experiences as an adopted child and her observations of intricate family dynamics. Cat is a long-standing resident in London, and has swapped swimming in Malibu for hiking on Hampstead Heath. Her writing gains depth and authenticity from her distinct viewpoint, which has been influenced by by living and working in both America and England.
