I was born one of four Daughters to Charles and Isabella in Glasgow on 23rd November 1955. We moved to Coventry in 1960 where my father worked as a driver. I left school at 15 and my first job was working in a shoe shop. My parents divorced and then both remarried my mother having another daughter and my dad another daughter and two sons. I returned to Glasgow when I was 16 and worked for a time as a waitress but soon returned to Coventry. I have lived in south wales for the past 19 years.
