Charlene Johnson is an independent author who crafts emotionally charged stories across several interconnected worlds. She is the creator of the paranormal romance series Circle of the Red Scorpion and its expanding universe, immersing readers in a realm of supernatural beings, potent emotions, ancient mysteries, and enigmatic locales.

She also pens the thrilling romantic suspense novels of the Raven Ridge Universe, formerly known as Sterling Wood and the High Stakes Brotherhood series, formerly Blown Away, as well as the upcoming Asphalt Chronicles urban romance series.

Known for immersive world-building and emotionally rich storytelling, Charlene writes stories where magic walks hand in hand with danger and love refuses to surrender.

A romantic at heart, she began her creative journey with poetry, capturing the fire of first love, the quiet devastation of heartbreak, and the hard-won beauty of healing. That lyrical foundation continues to shape her fiction, infusing her novels and short stories with vivid atmosphere, myth-tinged legends, and passion that lingers long after the final page.

Now relaunching her catalog as an indie author, Charlene is breathing new life into her interconnected worlds—refining, expanding, and reimagining them for longtime fans and new readers alike. Her stories celebrate devotion that defies fate, old legends reborn, and the belief that even in darkness, love is the most dangerous magic of all.

Her interconnected worlds continue to grow, with new stories, reimagined releases, and unseen corners still waiting to be explored.
