I started writing Charlie The Cavalier books when I became a stay at home Mom with my first daughter. I realized how hard it was to leave my child when I had to go away for work or pleasure. At the time we were skyping with both sets of Grandparents but my daughter was not interested for very long. I created Charlie the Cavalier to teach kids to feel comfortable when their loved ones go away. I want parents to know that their kids are loved even when they are not in the same location. I started by creating a book that families could use to skype with called Charlie the Cavalier Begs for Attention. That is where the Charlie the Cavalier printable puppet came from. Charlie the Cavalier Books are for parents, grandparents, and loved ones of children who sometimes need to go away but still want the children to know that they are loved even when they are not around. Reading Charlie the Cavalier books teaches kids that they are loved. Charlie the Cavalier teaches kids that traveling is fun. When you travel you can still stay connected in different ways.
