Thank you for visiting my author page! I write The Eastern Shore Mysteries, a series that's deeply rooted in the small towns and villages along the Chesapeake Bay. The books feature Grace Reagan, a burned out attorney from Washington, who makes a quick trip to the historic port of Mallard Bay and never quite manages to leave. Mallard Bay is fictional, but its charm and quirky inhabitants are quintessential Eastern Shore. Tourists wander in for a weekend break and by Sunday they’ve bought a house and changed their lives for the better. It happens all the time. My family and I are part of that group, known locally as "Come Heres," and we couldn't be more grateful for it. Writing about this picturesque place fills me with joy, and I love sharing its beauty and mysteries through my stories. But I don’t write alone. I owe a world of gratitude to my team of enthusiastic readers, friends, and editors, and most especially to my long-suffering husband. Ron handles the real world issues and makes it possible for his absent-minded wife to turn all those puzzles and questions flying around in her head into novels.
