I was born in Birmingham, Alabama, raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and spent most of my adult life in Dayton, Ohio. My wife, Cathy and I have two adult sons--Austin and Jacob. I began as a professional, freelance copywriter writing advertising/marketing communication material in different media for diverse industries--from Fortune 500 corporations to small businesses. While working as a freelancer, I was hired at Fairhaven Church in Dayton and served as a Pastor in Group Life until March of 2023. I've also pursued creative writing in the Christian market. This includes publishing religious drama, inspirational magazine articles, four non-fiction Christian ministry books and two Christian detective novels.
