Chris Dears was born in the late 1950s in Liverpool and grew up during the 1960s and 1970, only to live through Thatcher’s Britain in the 1980s. I have always been interested in personal finance for young people, as well as its teaching, politics, self-help, and many other subject areas. I want to become a better writer, so I write on various subjects that interest me and, hopefully, you as the reader. The UK’s decline, particularly in its global political influence, has been a constant presence throughout my adult life, and this has also inspired me to write my books. I am now retired from being a factory manager and have lived through a changing world order in that time. I hope you enjoy my books
