Christine J. Logan is a Canadian author, poet, memoirist, and children’s book creator based in British Columbia. Her writing is inspired by family, life experiences, relationships, and her lifelong love of storytelling.

Christine’s connection to writing began with her great-grandfather, Edgar Brown, a poet who wrote a book of poems about North Vancouver, British Columbia. Inspired by his example, Christine began writing poetry herself in Grade 10. In 1999, poems began flowing from her imagination, drawing on her experiences and relationships.

Her first poetry collection, To Touch Your Heart: Poems of Inspiration, was published in 2011. She later wrote My Heart Is Yours: Family First, Friends Forever, a collection of inspirational poetry dedicated to her brother, and Suppose: The Experiences of One Can Help Another, a memoir that shares personal experiences and the lessons Christine discovered through them.

As a grandmother, Christine’s imagination led her into children’s literature. Her grandchildren and family experiences inspired Because You Care for Beany Bear, a story about friendship, kindness, acceptance, and treating others with care.

Her children’s books also include Holy Fruit Toots, Rosie!, inspired by her daughter’s Labrador retriever, and What Should Hootie Do?, inspired by her grandchildren’s fascination with owls and designed to introduce young readers to the important role owls play in our ecosystem.

Christine’s growing collection also includes Chasing Tales: Adventures in Learning, which brings together stories about animals, nature, friendship, and learning through colorful storytelling and memorable characters.

Through her children’s books, poetry, and memoirs, Christine explores themes of family, friendship, kindness, acceptance, nature, self-discovery, and the lessons found in everyday life. Her goal is to create stories that entertain, inspire, encourage conversation, and leave readers with something meaningful to carry with them.

Christine has been self-publishing her books since 2011 and continues to develop new stories inspired by the people, experiences, and relationships that matter most to her.
