Cindy Ervin Huff is a multi-published writer and winner of the Editor’s Choice Award in 2014 and placed third in the Maxwell Award in 2017 and the first place Serious Writer Medal 2018 and was a finalist in the Selah Awards in 2019. She has been featured in numerous periodicals over the past thirty years. Cindy is a past member of the Christian Writer’s Guild and the founding member of the Aurora, Illinois chapter of Word Weavers, and currently serves as a Word Weavers mentor and a member of ACFW. Growing up as a military brat forced Cindy to learn to make friends quickly knowing she would be moving in a few years. She's an introverted extrovert who loves people as well as solitude. Although she has been creating stories in her head since childhood, it wasn’t until high school those imaginary characters began appearing on paper. After raising her family, she began her novel writing adventures. Cindy loves to encourage new writers on their journey. She and her husband make their home in Aurora, Illinois.
