Hi, I’m Claire Provost, paramedic, nurse, triathlete, dog mom, and now… author! I’ve spent most of my adult life juggling emergency calls, training sessions, and trying to figure out why kale chips still don’t taste like real chips. (Spoiler: they never will) I was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was 8 years old. For a long time, I believed it meant I wasn’t “made” for reading or writing. Turns out, it just meant I’d do things differently, and maybe a little louder, funnier, and more creatively. Being dyslexic has shaped how I learn, how I communicate, and most importantly, how I connect with others who feel like they don’t quite fit the mold. I didn’t plan to write books. But after years helping others take care of their health; through emergencies, recovery, and everyday challenges, I realized I had stories to tell and lessons worth sharing. Wellness isn’t about perfection. It’s about being real, finding joy, and learning to laugh (a lot) along the way. What inspires me to write? You. The real, messy, amazing human who’s trying to feel better, move more, and live fully without losing your mind in the process. I write these books to pass along the tools, motivation, and “you’ve got this” energy I wish someone handed me years ago. So, welcome. I’m glad you’re here. And if you ever need a pep talk, a dose of humor, or just someone who gets it. I’ve got your back.
