I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico in 1983. I have had so many imaginary friends stuck in my head that at the age of 14 it occurred to me to invent a life for each of them as a result of a writing assignment in high school, but it was until I was 34 years old that I published my first book. Now the rest of the little people that live in my head are ready to make themselves known to the world to be loved or hated. I don't have a favorite genre when it comes to writing. I love reading fantastic literature: I adore The Lord of the Rings since I met him, I immersed myself in the world of Memory, Sorrow and Thorn with Simon, I walked at night with Anne Rice spying on her vampires, I solved mysteries together to Robert Langdon in his adventures written by Dan Brown. My dreams take me where they want, although there are times that I prefer to transform them into magical places where I can return once more to dream.
