Clint Hale (1969-) was born in Dallas, TX, to Buck and Sharon Hale. After serving as a sniper in the U.S. Army, he completed his undergraduate degree in English, went to seminary, and spent 13 years in ministry/missionary work, including three years in Estonia. Eventually, he completed a MA in Teaching English and an MFA in Creative Writing. Currently, he teaches English at a Texas community college and directs the Writing Center tutors on his campus. He has published two academic works, two short stories (to date), and his most recent work, a memoir "Remembering Whose Son I Am." He is married, with three children. For those in the know, he is the bearer of the "Oar of Smiting."
