Clinton Rusthoven is an independent author from Vista, California, whose writing explores LGBTQIA+ experiences, identity, personal discovery, relationships, and the many unexpected journeys that shape a life.

Rusthoven writes only the stories that genuinely compel him. Rather than following trends or writing simply for the sake of publication, he believes that a story should have something meaningful to say—or at least something worth experiencing. His work often draws upon personal observations, imagination, and the people and places that have crossed his path.

Having traveled extensively throughout the Western United States, Rusthoven frequently incorporates the landscapes, communities, and experiences he encounters along the way into his writing. The American West provides a recurring backdrop for many of his stories, offering a sense of movement, independence, discovery, and possibility.

Beyond writing, Rusthoven believes in embracing life. He loves to dance, explore new places, meet people, and enjoy life's experiences to the fullest. These interests and experiences continue to influence his perspective as both a writer and an individual.
