Clodagh (rhymes with Yoda) is an Irish author of romantic comedy. Before writing books, she spent many years working a variety of office jobs, supplemented by numerous side hustles including mystery shopping and movie extra work. As a background artist, she has appeared in several major productions playing such classic roles as Audience Member and Passerby to no acclaim whatsoever. Her greatest passions in life are books, travel and romantic comedy in all its forms – so it’s no surprise that Romancing the Stone is one of her favourite movies, and Joan Wilder was a major influence on her career (not least for inspiring her to collect alcohol miniatures for celebrating finishing a novel). She lives in Dublin with a human and a cat, and writes in a cabin in the garden. When she’s not busy working on her next book, she enjoys reading, doing jigsaws, and gardening.
