Well, I do love to write, but for most of my career I wrote (or creative directed) super-short headlines and compact calls-to-action. So the thought of writing a book that required more that 65,000 words daunted me. But the topic is dear to me. And it's usually misunderstood. So when Laurence asked if I wanted to co-author a book about it, I said, "Hmm." And a few weeks later, "Yes." In, 2012, I had stumbled across the discipline of Audio Branding and had been knocked out by the idea's timeliness. I decided to put aside all other marketing endeavors to focus on spreading this brand-building approach in North America. And, after sounding out many European companies, I opened Sixième Son in the US. This book shares what I've learned (as fast as possible) since then. I'm still learning and I've learned to love the way that my inbox fills with music. My previous career? EVP, Executive Creative Director for Frankel , now Arc Worldwide, also responsible for a Business Unit of about 100 people, Exec responsibility for HR & Development and Sports & Entertainment Marketing (to the ongoing hilarity of the real sports experts), Global Network Director for Publicis, which required I fly from Kuala Lumpur to São Paolo and then to Sydney. Vevey, Switzerland was a frequent stop. So you can guess who the key client was. Lots of stories to tell, but that's a different book. If I ever can face writing one again. I hope it helps you grow your brand and make people feel more connected to it!
