Corey Phelps (coreyphelps.com) is an accomplished keynote speaker and corporate trainer and an award-winning business school professor. He is currently the Fred E. Brown Chair of Business and Dean of the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. As a business school academic, Professor Phelps has lived and worked in the U.S., France and Canada, and has taught or consulted in more than 30 countries around the world. Prior to joining OU, he was Associate Dean of Executive Education and Professor of Strategy at McGill University. He has also served on the faculties of HEC Paris and the University of Washington Foster School of Business. He completed his Ph.D. at the Stern School of Business, New York University. For over 20 years Corey has been researching various aspects of corporate growth and innovation and has published over 20 research papers on this topic in leading academic outlets. His research has received the Academy of Management Technology and Innovation Management Division’s Best Dissertation Award, The State Farm Companies Foundation Dissertation Award, and the 2012 INFORMS Technology Management Best Paper Award. He is Past Chair of the Technology and Innovation Management Division of the Academy of Management, past Chair for the Knowledge & Innovation Interest Group of the Strategic Management Society and serves on the editorial boards of the leading academic journals. Drawing on his extensive research experience, Corey has delivered keynote presentations and executive training programs for over 75 organizations in Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. He has taught in MBA, EMBA, PhD and executive programs throughout his career. In recognition of his teaching excellence, he received the Pierre Vernimmen BNP Paribas Award at HEC Paris and undergraduate and MBA professor of the year awards at the University of Washington.
