Craig grew up in a small town about sixty miles southwest of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and graduated with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He has been the County Engineer for Grundy County, Illinois since 1990. Craig enjoys creating fictional characters and bringing them to life in compelling adventure stories. He started writing his first novel in 2004 when an irresistible desire to write was birthed. He has published three novels, The Human Web and The Adventures of Yellow Hawk: Book 1 - Unusual Friends and Book 2 - The Warrior and is currently working on other projects. He has been married to his wife, Amy, for 33 years and have two children, Bradley (26) and Jeffrey (23). His other passion besides writing is bass fishing.
