After a career in sales, marketing, and fashion merchandising, I began writing my first book, Just Like That! , a collection of short, funny stories that are fictional, but mostly true, the day after I officially retired. Every day since, I have never stopped writing. My 2nd book, Lies My Father Told Me, was a continuation of short stories from my first book. I then decided to try my hand at non-fiction, and put together my next book, Really Bad Gangsters you probably never heard of; a collection of over 100 bio's of mobsters from the 1920's and 1930's. I next tried my hand at novellas, and published Gild the Lily, a collection of 9 unique stories, divided into four chapters where the characters all connect serendipitously. I spent the next two years writing my memoir, Thank you Harry, which turned out to be more or less a self-analysis of my life which I thourougly enjoyed discovering people and moments in my life that were hidden somewhere in the back of my brain. I'm currently working on my first historical fiction novel called IF,,,, stories of four people who let fate intervene and change the course of history...including 9/11. Nothing makes me happier than to hear back from friends or strangers who tell me how my books have affected them.
