Born with a love of stories and a deep appreciation for the people who shaped her life, Cynthia grew up listening to Bing Crosby on the radio, watching Katharine Hepburn command the screen, hearing Walt Disney’s creations come alive, and tapping her foot to the music of George Harrison and The Beatles. She never imagined that one day she would discover each of them woven into her own family tree.

Her research revealed a lineage that is both global and astonishingly diverse — from presidents like George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant, Millard Fillmore, and William Howard Taft… to innovators like Samuel Morse and the Wright brothers… to artists, dreamers, and entertainers whose work shaped the cultural landscape of the 20th century.

Cynthia’s ancestry stretches from the early settlements of New England to the wide skies of Western Australia, from the halls of the White House to the studios of Hollywood, from the battlefields of American history to the stages and recording rooms that changed music forever.

Her writing is driven by a simple truth she discovered along the way:
the past is not distant — it reaches forward, shaping us in ways we never expect.

She currently resides in South Bradenton, Florida, where she continues her genealogical research, uncovering new connections, new stories, and new reminders that family — no matter how far its branches reach — is always closer than we think.
