Doug Morrison aka D.MoSon is a dedicated Christian, father, husband, and son with a multifaceted background that spans military service, hospitality management, and a passion for writing. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Doug has made significant contributions as a Food & Beverage Director for prestigious brands such as Hilton and IHG. Currently, he serves with Wings & Rings in Cincinnati, Ohio, where his expertise and passion for food and beverage continue to shine. Doug's journey began in the Army as a Behavioral Health Specialist, where he developed a deep understanding of psychology and human behavior. He holds a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Psychology, achieved through rigorous studies both academically and within the U.S. Army. His commitment to service extended into his civilian life as well, where he worked as a School Resource Officer and Juvenile Officer in Missouri. Beyond his professional achievements, Doug has been an avid runner and fitness enthusiast, dedicating his time to coaching and supporting his children in their various activities. His passion for health and wellness is evident not only in his personal life but also in his professional endeavors. As a certified sommelier, cicerone, and Certified Food & Beverage Executive (CFBE) from the American Culinary Institute, Doug has a profound love for the food and beverage industry. He has published multiple beverages and documented his journey through several journals, showcasing his dedication to his craft. In addition to his professional and personal pursuits, Doug is actively involved in the "WatchDOGS" program, which stands for "Dads of Great Students." This initiative encourages fathers to be positive male role models in schools, reflecting his commitment to fostering strong, supportive communities. When he's not working or writing, Doug cherishes his time with his loving wife, Stephanie, and their five amazing children. Their family is completed by their unique pets, including an ugly pug named Keia and a Bearded Dragon named Blingo. Through his writing, Doug Morrison aims to inspire and support others in pursuing their passions, drawing from his diverse experiences and heartfelt dedication to helping others.
