DJ James is a loser who lives in the basement of a small house somewhere in the Detroit area. He does nothing all day except write books that no one will read. He has two friends, one of whom is a sock with eyeballs glued to it, and the other is his imaginary friend Steve, who is no longer on speaking terms with him. He went to college, somehow, and graduated with a degree doing something no one cares about. He self-publishes his books because most publishers have standards. He is the author of Bath Salt Raccoon, a book that made him enough money to purchase a single snack from a vending machine. He is also the author of other books, if they can even be called books.
