Doug Owen is a non-fiction author and independent paranormal investigator based in Idaho. With decades of hands-on experience, he has explored some of the most well-known haunted locations in the United States, including the RMS Queen Mary and the Winchester Mystery House, as well as numerous sites across Idaho known for unexplained activity. He is the founder of Authentic Haunted, a paranormal investigation team and research collective dedicated to exploring, documenting, and preserving evidence of the unexplained. Through this work, Doug also curates and studies reportedly haunted and allegedly cursed artifacts, offering collectors and enthusiasts a rare, tangible connection to the paranormal. Doug is the author of The Unholy Silence, a true account of a deeply disturbing and well-documented haunting that affected his family. Through immersive storytelling and firsthand documentation, he brings readers into a real-life encounter with the unexplained—where the line between reality and the supernatural begins to disappear.
