Dan Chappelle grew up in an artist commune just outside of Athens, GA in the 1970's. To say he rebelled is an understatement. He is fond of saying his family went from "Hippie to Yippie, to Yuppie." He ended up in the most unlikely of places - the travel industry. After more than a decade building a highly successful cruise focused travel company, he joined the corporate ranks specializing in startups and turnarounds - quickly ascending to the executive ranks of several of the world's best known travel brands. Dan has helped thousands of travel and tourism entrepreneurs profitably scale their businesses and take control of their time. He is the author of "Get Your Ship Together - The Wealthy Travel Agent Guide to Sales". He is also the first to admit that almost everything he knows about sales, focusing on the fundamentals, he learned in summer of his freshman year of college selling books door-to-door. Dan is an avid hiker, backpacker, and of course - a world traveler! He and his wife are the parents of three grown daughters, four dogs, two cats, and grandparents to the most awesome grandson. They live in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue, WA.
