Dear Reader-friends: Ignore ratings/reviews that are
1) void of literary commentary
2) outliers from most others
3) by obscured reader names
4) grammar-gross
5) snide/cynical comments
6) nice comments, yet the rating is low & not about literary merit.

Ignore liars who try to deny YOU truthful reviews, who falsely lower rating averages just to punish an author over UNRELATED social media posts. Rely on predominant reviews/ratings by real reader/buyers, pro reviewers & awards. It's hard for Amazon to infer whether a rating is bogus, but YOU can make a well-considered judgement.
