I began lecturing in sport this year after 20 years of being a tennis coach. Having obtained an MSC in Political Sociology from Birkbeck College I began my writing career. I appear frequently on the current affairs website Spiked Online and as a speaker at the Battle of Ideas. I have released a series of essays on the running boom in the UK that I have now turned into a book entitled "Running Away from the Race". I have spent the last 5 years reseaching what makes Tennis players better competitiors. This project has been undertaken with my partner and friend Styrling Strother. We have called the book 'The Art of Winning Tennis'. We aim to take on Traditional Tennis Culture and a certain way of doing things that we believe holds players back and we want to replace it with something very new. Something very exciting.
