Dave Sterrett is a writer, speaker, and oncology sales professional based in Columbus, Ohio. He is the Wall Street Journal best-selling co-author of I Am Second (Thomas Nelson) and has authored a number of books, including Why Trust Jesus? (Moody) and Jesus Conversations: Effective Everyday Engagement (Tyndale). He is also the founder of Medical Sales U, a coaching business that has helped hundreds of professionals build careers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device sales. A graduate of Liberty University, Dave holds a Master of Arts in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Dallas. He has spoken to faith-based and nonprofit groups on campuses including Yale, Duke, the University of Virginia, Wheaton College, Benedictine College, and LSU, teaching on leadership, ethics, and the reliability of the Christian faith. His work reflects a conviction that truth matters, that ideas have consequences, and that Scripture is best understood carefully, in its historical context, and lived out in community. Dave works full time in medical sales, partnering with physicians and health systems to bring innovative therapies to patients. As a husband and father with a demanding career, he understands the challenge of building consistent habits in a busy life. His writing and teaching aim to help ordinary people — parents, professionals, and the next generation — engage big questions honestly, without trends or shortcuts, and apply what they believe to work, family, leadership, and daily decisions. Dave lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, Michelle, and their children.
